Study on use of NetWalk in analysis of drug resistance networks in breast cancer
Our recent study on the networks mediating acquired resistance to targeted therapy in breast cancer has been published in Molecular Systems Biology as a featured article, accompanied by a commentary from Jason Locasale (link). We made an extensive of use NetWalk and Edge Flux tables in this study to identify networks that are specifically activated during chronic exposure of breast cancer cells to lapatinib and that therefore mediate resistance to this therapy. A NetWalker project workspace file containing all the analysis objects (microarray dataset, EF Table and FunTable objects, EF heatmap and network views) will be shortly available for download at "Download" section. You can download this file and open it in NetWalker and either redo the analyses as an excersize or perform an in-depth re-analysis of the results in NetWalker.
